Microsoft New Bing & Ping Service Leaves Out Windows Live Users
On Microsoft’s Bing community blog, Microsoft announced the new Bing & Ping feature they will be rolling out soon. The new Bing & Ping feature will allow users to share intresting things they have found with services such as Facebook and Twitter with a few clicks. This means users can share information with their friends on those networks.
There is one big problem though. They left out their own Windows Live Services……As one user commented:
“I am little bit agree with ali. Where is the benefit for me? Yes, I know how I can handle this, it’s easy, install the new AIM Messenger… o_O . The other thing I could use is a vista sidebar gadget.
No sorry without any interaction with other MS apps or services it’s pointless for me.”
So Microsoft has come up with the brilliant idea of locking out users of its own service from using its new Bing & Ping Service. I recently have wondered what exactly is going on over in Redmond. This type of thing is teetering on borderline brain dead. Why would you create a service, and then lock your own users out of that service. That makes no sense to me whatsoever. I can imagine from their blog that many Windows Live users are upset, and rightfully so.
